Terms of use

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Fellow Forge, the study app and website at thefellowforge.com, fellowforge.ledi.com.au and study.ledi.com.au. Fellow Forge is run by LEDI Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Fellow Forge, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Fellow Forge.

1. What Fellow Forge is

Fellow Forge is a study tool for medical exams and training: study notes organised by curriculum, key numbers, spaced-repetition cards, questions, practice exams, audio, a study plan, an AI examiner for oral and clinical exam practice (the AI viva), and, on plans that include it, a way to turn your own material into study units.

Fellow Forge has a free plan and paid plans, which include more, such as more AI viva sessions and My material. A new account starts with a 7-day trial of Pro at no charge, with a limited number of AI viva sessions and document conversions. When the trial ends, the account moves to the free plan unless it is on a paid plan. We will tell you the price and terms before you buy anything, and you will not be charged unless you choose to buy.

Fellow Forge is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to RANZCOG, the RACGP, the UCAT ANZ Consortium, ACER or the RACP, or any other college, exam body or university.

2. A study tool, not medical advice

Our notes are summaries written for exam preparation, with the help of AI tools. They can contain errors or omissions, and guidelines change. They are not the guidelines themselves and they are not medical advice.

  • Do not use Fellow Forge to make decisions about a patient’s care.
  • Before relying on anything, including doses, thresholds and intervals, check it against the current guideline, college document or product information, and use your own clinical judgement.
  • If you find a mistake, please tell us at fellowforge@ledi.com.au so we can fix it.

3. No promise of exam results

Our questions and practice exams are written by us and follow the format a college publishes; they are not official papers. Where we link to a college’s own past papers, those belong to the college. Your scores in Fellow Forge do not predict your result, and using Fellow Forge does not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Exam formats, dates and rules are set by the college: always check its own information. The AI examiner's questions and marks are generated by AI as practice feedback; they are not the college's marking and can be wrong.

4. Your account

  • Use an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • An account is for one person. Please don’t share it.
  • If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to use Fellow Forge.
  • Tell us straight away at fellowforge@ledi.com.au if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Your own material

On plans that include “My material”, you can upload documents and text and turn them into study units. If your plan stops including it, for example when your trial ends, we keep what you added, locked, until you move to a plan that includes it. You can delete it at any time from My material, or by deleting your account.

  • You keep ownership of what you upload. You allow us to store and process it, and to send it to our service providers (Anthropic, to convert documents, and Cloudflare, for storage and audio), only so that we can provide Fellow Forge to you.
  • Only upload material you are allowed to use for your own study. You are responsible for what you upload.
  • Never upload anything that identifies a patient, or anyone else’s personal or health information without their permission. Remove names, dates of birth, record and Medicare numbers and other identifiers first. Fellow Forge warns you about some of these and asks the converter to leave them out, but it cannot catch everything, and the document you upload still reaches our providers.
  • We may remove material that breaks these terms.

The same goes for the AI viva: answer as you would about a case in the exam, and don't describe a real patient in a way that identifies them. The AI viva needs your browser's permission to use your microphone, which you can withdraw at any time; you can type your answers instead.

6. Using Fellow Forge fairly

You must not:

  • copy, publish, share or sell our notes, cards or questions, or use them to build another product (including to train AI);
  • scrape or download content in bulk, or get around limits such as the daily allowances for the natural voice and the AI viva;
  • post your private podcast link publicly (anyone with the link can listen to it);
  • try to get into other people’s accounts or our systems, or disrupt Fellow Forge; or
  • use Fellow Forge for anything unlawful.

7. Our content, and the names we mention

The notes, cards, questions, designs and software in Fellow Forge belong to LEDI Pty Ltd or to those who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own study while you have an account.

College, exam and qualification names (such as FRANZCOG, FRACGP, UCAT and GAMSAT) belong to their owners. We use them only to describe what our notes cover. Links to other websites are there for convenience; we don’t control those sites.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving Fellow Forge, so features, curricula and limits may change, and we may add or withdraw curricula. We aim to keep Fellow Forge running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may pause it for maintenance. Keep your own copy of anything important: Settings has a backup.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings (“Delete my account”). This removes your account, progress, own material, podcast and reminders, as our Privacy policy explains. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Where it is reasonable to, we will tell you first and say why.

10. Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that:

  • Fellow Forge is provided free of charge and “as is”;
  • as far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using our notes for patient care against section 2, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and
  • where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on this page at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Fellow Forge after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree with them, you can delete your account.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. The courts of Queensland, and the courts that hear appeals from them, can decide any dispute about them.
